NOLA Food Adventure Photo Diary

Recently I traveled with three of my closest friends to New Orleans, where the pace of life is slower and the food is saltier. We just ate a butt load of food. We also took a butt load of pictures of a butt load of food.

Top 3 Dishes

1. Bread Pudding Souffle - Commander's Palace
My friend said it tastes like how hugging a teddy bear feels. Warm and cozy.

2. Craw Fish Pie - Cochon
More like an empanada with a delicious NOLA twist.

3. Charbroiled Oysters - Acme Oyster House
I love raw oysters but this was parmigian-y and buttery perfection.

NO PICS BUT STILL FRIKKEN DELICIOUS FOOD :

Bourbon Street Suggestion: Gyro - Ali Baba Gyros

If you're drunk on Bourbon and it's 2 AM, I recommend the gyros from Ali Baba Gyros. Do NOT get the mediocre overpriced pizza, fried chicken or hotdogs from those touristy joints that are looking to rip off your drunk ass... Eat that gyro!!!

Get Classy Drunk: Specialty Cocktails -Commander's Palace

There's more to NOLA's drink options than just Hurricanes and Fishbowls... Commander's Palace serves classy, strong and incredible tasty Signature Cocktails, notably the Hibiscus Martini and the something I can't remember the name of but it had a lot of citrus and rum? tequila? See! Those drinks were so delicious that I became too drunk and now I have forgotten exactly what I drank...
